The town of Murfreesboro, with its rich history, favorable business climate, and low cost of living, has a small-town feel and all the amenities of a much larger urban setting. It is Tennessee’s fastest-growing major city, yet it retains the charm of Main Street USA.

Murfreesboro is home to Middle Tennessee State University, Nissan Motors, and the new Middle Tennessee Medical Center. It was the site of the Battle of Stones River, a major engagement of the Civil War, and was—briefly—the capitol of the state of Tennessee.
