When selling your home, there are a few things you can do that will improve the look and marketability with little cost.  These things will help make a better first impression on potential buyers:

Spruce up the landscaping. The front of your home is the first thing a buyer sees.  Pull weeds, clean up debris, etc.

Paint the interior if needed.  If paint is showing signs of wear and tear, a coat of fresh paint can do wonders for appearance.  Remember, soft neutral colors show much better than bright or dark colors.

Burn candles, place potpourri throughout.  Try not to cook strong-smelling foods if you’ve scheduled a showing with our Appointment Center.

Make the home bright.  Open blinds, turn on lights, etc. to make the rooms brighter.

Clean up the clutter.  Keeping your home free of clutter opens up the rooms and makes them appear bigger.

Clean closets. Cleaning out the “excess” makes the closets look bigger

Call a Handyman to come do the work if you’re not able or qualified to ensure the work is done properly the first time.
