| We Have a New Addition to The Cooke Team!
Pat Earhart is new to our team, but not new to me and my family. Ms. Pat happened to be my boss back in 1988 and 1989 when I first moved to Tennessee. I visited a temporary service looking for work and met Pat and she hired me to be her front desk receptionist when I was VERY YOUNG! She truly helped me to learn the responsibilities of how to be professional and run a top notch office.

She was a very independent single mom that truly knew how to teach, inspire and motivate New Professionals, such as I when I walked in that door the first day I met her. Her family and ours has stayed in touch over many years and fortunately for us, she was available and accepted the opportunity to join our team and has truly started to settle in and take the bull by the horns.

Choosing the Right Color!
- Red or pink tones look deeper and richer in artificial light, but blues and greens can look washed out. Keep this tip in mind when choosing colors for a room what will be used primarily in the evenings.
- Warm colors such as red, orange and yellow are ‘advancing’ colors which appear to draw surfaces closer, and create a sense of cozy comfort.
- Cool colors such as green, blue and violet are ‘receeding’ colors which maximize space, and make a room feel fresh and airy.
- Neutral color such as cream and beige are useful for toning down more adventurous colors but, used in their own right, will allow attention to be focused on the contents of a room, rather than the room itself.
- Pinks and red-blues, for example, have a romantic feel that is perfect for dining rooms and bedrooms, while fresh outdoor colors like yellow and green are best suited to busy daytime rooms.

| Fundraiser - Rutherford County Boys & Girls Club
We hope you can join us for the up and coming Steak and Burger Fundraiser for the Rutherford County Boys and Girls club. We are on a mission to raise money to build a Smyrna facility comparable to the Murfreesboro location that was built about 10 years ago. There are tables for sale and I am in charge of the Silent Auction if anyone has anything they want to donate for auction. This is the biggest fundraiser the Boys and Girls Club has every year and we hope this one will keep the trend going.
The date for the fundraiser is February 28, 2006.
For additional information please contact Steve McKinney at the Murfreesboro Boys and Girls Club at (615) 893-5437
